Default Futaba 3PK (Megatech)

I was looking into updating my current radio. I took a look on Ebay and noticed that there was a cheaper 3PK but instead of Futaba it had Megatech on it.

Are there any difference in between the two? Are they the same?
Is it worth buying the Megatech rather than the Fuataba?

Thanks.
Paul

Default 3PK

Futaba Magnum is supplied to US generally with FM or HRS receiver. Megatech is Futaba 3PK for Asian region generally 40 or 29 Mhz(Aussie) and with PCM or HRS receivers.

Just a name change otherwise same aka Holden Monaro and Pontiac GTO ...Lol

Futaba USA will not cover warranty for MEGATECH. Only MAGNUM 3PK will be cover for warranty repair here in US. Other than that, they are identical.

If you're interested in going with the Spektrum, a new Megatech (in black!) can be had with no module or anything else for under $200 on eBay. Combine that with a Spektrum and your favorite servo, and you've got a nice system.

Yep, jeep is right. They are identical except the name and the warranty issue. I have one and it has performed flawlessly.
