looks great, it seems that the shocks are a little bit longer then they mostly are. But i could be wrong.

I´ve been thinking about this quite a lot lately, as I´m trying to figure out how to set it for on-road. The problem that I have found in the Rally version is that it´s stock suspension geometry is not very optimized. I figure that Tamiya had to compromise the overall suspension geometry optimization in order to create a cross over vehicle.
From my studies so far, I concluded that Tamiya designed the suspension geometry (for the rally and truck versions) having the TRF/CVD dampers as the starting point. Its quite obvious because it wouldn´t make sense to invent a new damper design. How would you design the suspension geometry, using the stock 55mm dampers as the starting point and at the same time, suit tires/wheels of very different sizes, ranging from 64mm to 78mm diameter? The outer suspension arms´ travel lenght is 35mm fromthe lowest to highest points, while the TRF dampers´ travel length is only 1.2mm! You must make some compromises somewhere!
So now, back to the XV-01TC, from this picture and the info provided at Tamiya´s website, its now known that it will feature the TA-06 suspension, which by itself probably means that its suspension geometry is far better optimized to use on-road than the rally version! Tho I have the Rally version, and LOVE IT, I´ll definitely also buy this compatible TA-06 items to be able to run it truthfully anywhere!

Interesting with the TC, I'm planing to make a carbon fiber chassi and topdeck for shorty lipo, may be change to the TC/416/TA06 arms as well that would make it a XV-01TC R

Raman, yes your right better to wait but I will cut the carbon chassi anyway.
Because whey still use the same plastic chassi on the TC there should not be any change of suspension mounts.
On the other hand when you make your own chassi you can drill holes where you like

I have a pro kit coming, with an HPI BMW M3 GT Touring Car Body (190mm). What offset wheels should I run? I believe 3mm is stock?
I asked the AMain help-person, and was given a link for 6mm wheels, didn't seem right (Average Joe's video review said he used 3mm)

Yes mask and gloves are good to use when cutting carbon fiber
The Tamiya wheel spacer (blue #53646 and red #53646) are great, depend on the depth of the rims hex you can easily add 0.5mm, 1mm, 1,5mm, 2mm offset or more. Tamiya rims usual have deeper hex (you can add more spacers) then for example Schumacher Rev-Lite rims but you can still add some.
