Heres an idea for the guys at speedzone. Design a hardcase style that would have a channel to give clearence for the t-bar and set flat onto the chassis. Not sure about demensions, but it then may be also used in the link style cars too. Give it alot of mah and a high C and it'll sell like pancakes at IHOP.
I know I'd be all over it with a few old 1/12 t-bar cars myself.
I also know of guys, including myself, that like the way the t-bar car handles over a link car. They simply have more snap.

That would be very cool and I would need several as I'd love to try some T bar cars again. They "feel" different to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I am looking into this and 80% leaning towards a re-release. Some logistics need to be worked out and I will have an definitive answer after Chinese New Year.

Although it will be too costly to redesign our current mold, I am looking to have the packs released with a higher c rating and capacity.

For the person looking for a picture of the pack in-car, here it is:

I have an RC12L4, the nearest carpet track for me is an hour away. I couldn't make it there often enough to warrant a new 12th pan car chassis but if I had a 1s saddle pack available I'd buy that over a new chassis.

Gavin,

So is there no possibility of you switching to bullets on the pack or having a bullets version made?

I have one of the originals and I had a hard time with the standard deans plug wire layout.

Because of the small space, there is just not enough room to get the bullets done. The cells take up all the real estate in the case. I am not saying it's impossible but honestly speaking I can't justify the time, effort and cost for a redesign and tooling since the T-bar cars are no longer mainstream. I have seen a couple of variations where people have taken our packs, cut-off the deans and the added bullets and rigged it to the case or the center of the chassis...but that is a "do it at you own risk" project.
