Interesting, excited to see what you came up with!

And to be honest, that rule will change. With that said, i am moving forward, i dont want to stay in the past. These cars have been running the same tired versions of the reactive caster front end for ages. This is going to be my 2nd version of an independant front end. 1st one worked great but spring rates were hard to make consistant with the material being the big variable. It got to costly to mic them up and pair them.

All I can say is wow! Made a comment at the track this weekend... (how different can it be) Guess I might be eating my words! I was looking forward to the 12R no matter what. I would assume that this will require quite a bit of testing?

It will go through intense testing at the carpet track as soon as it is finished. It was designed on top notch software to ensure correct steering geometry and suspension geometry. Most of the hiccups that normally can happen dont when things are layed out this way. This is a few months of design work along with the work i put in before my son was born. I am confident that the release of the car isnt far off. I have been extremely thorough.:)

Speaking of which...how is your son doing?
|
He is getting stronger everyday. He just joined us for his 1st new years celebration. He is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I think thats way more than one hint today :D, not that we mind

Any pictures of the new car? Even if foggy lense ones?

So how about today's tidbit..servo mounted?? Behind the turnbuckles and flat.. Or?
|
Wheelbase?;)
|
Steering bellcrank, not direct to the hubs. This is needed to get the ackerman good as well as bump steer. When the turnbuckles mount to the servo, the verticle height changes as the wheels turn. This will give you different bump toe on each wheel. I wanted to eliminate this.
