Default Current drain out of the ESC sensor connector?

I am busy with a tool for a technical inspection (can not tell yet what, it must be a supprise) but it contains some electronics. Because I need to take a signal from one sensor it would save me in building (and the guys using it in action) if I could take the 5 volt voltage directly from the sensor cable.

The total current draw will be nothing more than 60 mA (3 LED's and some very low power chips), so not much.

But I can imagine the power this cable is somehow limited due a chance of a broken or damaged wire and so a shortcut with the already low power sensors.....

I do not own a sensored brushless setup so I can not try but I think it will be used mainly on a SP Citrix ESC.

Anyone know this?
