Default 10.5 Blinky, need info!

Hi all,

Next year, I'll run in strock class in my national champ. In past few years, I was running in modified classe, so I have no idea about blinky setup.

I try differend brand motor, like GM, SpeedPassion and ThunderPower. I have 2 differents speedo, one GM120 and the new LRP Flow.

Can some one give me a good start setup point? For indoor carpet big layout (18mx30m)

Is it better to add timing on the motor? Or just use bigger gearing?

In the Uk our stock class is 10.5 blinky.

Reedy Sonic is a very popular motor, won last national motor timing 42.5 , rollout 68-70mm depends on track motor runs cool.Sorted.

I run a Speed Passion MMM and Orion 160amp speedy and it is no quicker then a Thunder Power and Hobby Wing Justock combo at our club. 10.5 blinky class seems to minimise the difference in performance between low and high end speedies.

Batteries however do make a difference, to a point. On our big open outdoor track there is 2 tenths difference over a 16-17sec lap, between different packs in my collection. Get the best packs you can afford.
