Guys I agree this should be focussed more on the hobby drivers than the top drivers, but on the other hand the idiots that race just about everywhere (case in point: Markus ) and several others that have indicated their interest (Oscar, Erik) tend to have obligations at major events. Moreover, many of the "regular" hobby drivers do attend events like the DHI cup and LRP Masters as well (especially on the German side). If you don't take these people into account you will lose a significant number of potential regulars and frankly I think that would be a shame.

I think Markus hit the nail on the head. Let's go for three events with a fourth final event.

I've just heard that M-auto is going to organize a wintercompetition. With a 4wd and 2wd class.
The 2wd class has two classes, the 6 cell with a 17t motor and 4 cells with a modified motor (no motor limit).
Last winter when they also organised a competition there weren't that much people. 22 in total, 11 in the 4wd and 11 in the 2wd class.
Maybe we can somehow join forces with them...

That is my intention.

It's no use to have two 1:12 competitions here so to work together would be optimal.

Try Velp. http://www.evmc.nl

Now that would be interesting: 4cell modified on a 1/8th scale track!
You'd need a telescope to see your car at the end of the straight!

Default Planning to buy a 1:12 car!

Hi, i'm planning to buy a 1:12 car, but i need an advice wich car should i buy???

I am driving a corally c10X right now and that's ok....
sure we modified it a bit and still i have a few options to make it better, but overall its good an spareparts are easy to get.

But i think with 1:12 it's a total different story or not?
Weight strengt of the car? i don't know.
Help me pls

An what about the new proto's of Corally and Ascai four cell center line???

I won't make it tonight, other buisness to attend to.
The idea here is to establish a winter racing series, so outdoor racing is not what we would want.

If you want to run 1/12th, get a Corally, since it has good parts compatibility with your Pro 10. Further the Corally is a little sturdier than most other cars, and parts availability around here's better.
You'll also need some 4cell packs, and some 8, 9 or 10 turn armatures, and a good 1/12th scale servo.
If you choose the Corally car, you'll need some gold and silver tires, both front and rear, it's all you'll ever need. Only Corally-specific rimms will fit.
Don't be afraid to buy a used car.
