Is the SS spool a "bad" idea?

I am having no problems with my spool...Just make sure your blades are not broken and make sure you put grease on the blades..

I wont lie, Im not that smooth of a driver and I am sure that is where it is coming from mainly however, I check the blades and grease them before each heat. Once or twice I can make the whole run but most times the car feels funny I bring it in and the blades, on both sides normally, are broken off with the spool ripped apart by the bones.

5 spools down... I am spending $100 in spools for each race and I am tired of it.

Like I said, I understand it is mostly my driving however other cars when you swith to the spool have metal blades or no blades at all, and have direct bone to cup contact.

Any kind of contact with a spool will damage something, if you do make a lot of contact with the track or other cars you will be better off with a diff.

I learned alot...Since I had no carpet experience I thought my car had to be very stiff. Luckily I had a friend who runs for schumacher who was at the race that helped me on setup. He basically just told me run a asphalt setup which I did...

Custom I sent you a pm.

hey, for what it's worth, buran's stallion was awesome tonight at our place. a great place to start for the foam invitational! man, every time i drive that thing, i love how it rotates. it's got great cornerspeed, without feeling aggressive at all.
