i just saw pics of the car in the reedy thread and i'm sure noones going the say its a copy of any other car. I'm just curious on why they put the steering link if front of the streering knuckle. From what ive heard the reedy race was the first time that car was driven so i guess there might be more changes to come on the car. I hope josh posts here soon to give us an idea on how the car felt.

I saw the car first hand this weekend. It's pretty crazy. The first thing I thought was that the basic layout looked like a back wards XRay It'll be interesting to see how close the production car will be to it. Josh looked really good with it for only having 8 runs with it before racing started Saturday.

Josh, just wondering if your chasis will also be incorporated onto the offroad car?.

Your design is certainly different compared to the recent kyosho material, which is good

Default kyosho car

I thought the car looked cool, the way the steering works, and I think running batteries side by side really balances the weight on the chassis.

Was Paul Lemuix running the same car?

#2 - Trust me, if I'm behind the computer designing the car - it definatly won't be a copy cat car. I'm known for making some crazy stuff so if my ideas work it should be a lot of fun.

#3 - kylehirano - The KX-1 was an interesting car but you have to remember, yes, the weight was in the center but the CG/motor position was not optimal.

#4 - Hodge, diapers have been a great experience!! How's the JRXS running?? Sounds like I didn't miss much at the Nats. Hopefully I'll see you guys at the Reedy Race and get to do some racing with everyone.
Well, Josh... whatever you design(I'm sure will be great), please include "bleeder" caps on the shocks. Please!

As I mentioned in the Reedy thread, very interesting design. Not sure how the affects of reverse bump steer up front will have on performance though. I'm glad Kyosho and Josh are at least experimenting with some very unique designs. Not sure about the location of the spur though. That stuff seems very high.

yeah, When I was at REEDY Josh was in the middle of a maintenance session (car torn down) and i didn't want to disturb him. In the quick glimpse that Igot of the car from afar the high spur design reminded me of the old OB4. So I wasn't really excited about that. Said to myself I would come back later to see the rest, but got caught up in all the mains racing ...

Wish I woulda returned to have a better look.
