Internal ratio is 2.5:1, it's on the side of the box.

P.S i had trouble with the short ballcups on the end of the shock shaft (came off twice during qualifiers) so you may want to try the medium one's

Thanks. However, it would have been better if they spec that in the manual's appendices along with a gear chart for the resulting final ratio.

I agree, it should have been in the manual. However, it is listed on the setup sheet, but I do remember looking everywhere in the manual for the internal ratio.

The car will get faster and faster as the transmission breaks in, and I put about 8 packs through the car last Thursday, and the drivetrain is finally freeing up a bit more

Adachi/Ito used the chassis with the batteries forward and Mark/Tony used the chassis with the batteries back. Both had their advantages depending on the track conditions. I asked Kyosho if they wanted me to run the Stallion at the event or to run my design - they opted for me to use my design. I was just suprised they allowed people to take pictures.... This car is purely a development car (as far as I know). It's a compilation of new geometry and construction techniques that aren't commonly used. The style is to try and bring something new to the table to increase performance, increase durability and reduce cost. As far as the castor block design.... .... It turned out good!!!
Josh What I would like to know if Kyosho Doesnt ok your chassis will you bring it out under the CEFX Name?

I have been following the topic but could anyone post a picture of the kyosho stallion that will be released, as kyoshos site shows the car with the motor further forward not towards the back. Also if anyone knows a release date.

cheers

Hi Guys,

Just want to let you all know we started a pre-order for the Kyosho TF-5 Stallion Please note the price listed is the MAP price and discount price will show in the shopping cart when you pre-order. Please note the discount price is our best estimate at the moment.

Also ran the shaft car again tonight, and again the car ran great. Made a few small changes to the front spring and roll center position, and I will post the changes and its effects once I go through the notes again.

The TF-5 Stallion is how much?????

I like Kyosho, they make a good quality product but I don't like it that much!!

Even with the discount its more than the overpriced Tamiyas.

C'mon I can get a brand new RRR for less than that!

Hi Guys,

We are trying to do better on the price, but that's the best we can do at the moment. Sorry about that. Hopefully the car comes very well equipped.

With the discount shown in the shopping cart it comes to about the same amount as a top touring car in England (T2, FT TC4, pro4). The Hot Bodies Surikarn and Yokomo Grainger cars cost the equivalent of $610 and would be more if sold at the RRP! I think it would sell for the price its for sale at there...

Now do I need to run off that list of Kyoshos I have from a few pages back?

In regards to the expected price of the Stallion...

Maybe instead of Kyosho it should be more like.... 'Kay Yo Sho me the money?

How's about this. Offer a tube of KY-osho jelly with every Stallion sold.

Okay I'm done.

BTW to whom it may concern Mr. TF5.com admin. The site needs more content.
