which version of the belt car have you received? the one with motor at center of chassis or the one currently tested in Japan with the motor moved toward the back of the car?

It looks like if they go with the forward position motor they are able to use allot of theTF5 shaft car with the Belt. they would share the same suspension, the same front and rear bulk heads and about 85% should be the same just adapting the rubber band system and a different center motor block.

If they use the rear position the rear bulk head and center motor mount would have to be different making the car about 75-80% the same as the shafty.

My personal choice is keep it simple use as much parts form the shaft you can on the belt. This way it will be cheaper to make.

Come on Kyosho Lets get a move on it!!! TF5 TF5 TF4 uh... TF5 KX-One

I know the TF-5 is suppose to be released first, but it looked like the Kyosho guys were all running the belt car at the Reedy Race. So does this mean the belt car is really close to release or is this just the teaser?

I wan the new car but I would really rather have the belt car over the shaft.

Thanks,

Judging from this picture it looks like the mid motor car was ran at Reedy, as on a rear motor car there is not much room for a receiver.

Go to www.TF-5.com and you'll see Mark and Joel's cars. Mark, Joel and Josh all ran the car that has the motor more forward then Adachi's car at the LRP Masters.
