I still like the Pro 4 ...... Shaft drives just seem to accelerate more level to the track.

..... Then by fall, everyone will be back to shaft.

It's called 'Win on Sunday, sell on Monday'... Has been happening for ages... Even in full scale racing sine the late Fifty's.

I agree with ya about the PRO4... imo; one of, if not the best shaft's out there...

only belt car i would personally consider getting is the LOSI.. like nothing else out there..

Wow thats funky, It seems like it has potential to be a good car, with everything so close the center of the chassis. Could you Imagine Josh and Paul kicking everyones butt at the Reedy Race with the KX1. Ahhhhhhhhh reborn, where can I get one? A classic never dies.

Even after they have copied the 415 layout, they still can't beat Marc Reinhard. Hummm, I wonder why that is? Maybe Marc is better than the other drivers.

Yes, I know the 415 isn't the original car with that layout, but it's the latest one to win the Worlds.

I still like the Pro 4 and Yokomo SDW as my favorite cars. Shaft drives just seem to accelerate more level to the track.

I will be getting the LCG conversion this summer, so then I can whoop all the 415's and FK05's at my track. Then by fall, everyone will be back to shaft.
you cant be more wrong about a shaft car being more flat to the groung under acceleration BELT CARS DONT FLEX there is nothing
spining in oppisite directions the belt rotates front to back...
now what stays more level to the track? you got belted

Here's a few answers to the comments on here...

#1 - It won't have 3 belts...lol... it won't have a shaft either. While the shaft is a little snappier off the corner, I'll take the consistancy and lack of torque steer that a belt system will have. There is a reason why belts have dominated as of late (gas and electric).....

#2 - Trust me, if I'm behind the computer designing the car - it definatly won't be a copy cat car. I'm known for making some crazy stuff so if my ideas work it should be a lot of fun.

#3 - kylehirano - The KX-1 was an interesting car but you have to remember, yes, the weight was in the center but the CG/motor position was not optimal.

#4 - Hodge, diapers have been a great experience!! How's the JRXS running?? Sounds like I didn't miss much at the Nats. Hopefully I'll see you guys at the Reedy Race and get to do some racing with everyone.
