Guys,

There's a good chance that Kyosho is doing both belt and shaft cars (dual platform) like a lot of manufactures out there (Tamiya, Yokomo, HPI/HB)

Yeah the T2 looks great, you cant go wrong with a X-ray.

Steve your new website Maxxtruck is awesome. You know what racers want and I have always had good experiences when ordering through you.

maybe this is the car that will be released worldwide as I heard that the shaft-driven that Adachi used in JMRCA will only be released in Japan.

anyway, we were with 2 pictures of shaft and belt driven cars at the beginning of this thread, and now it's still shaft and belt driven cars that Kyosho are testing.

they might as well be in contention to release 2 type of cars in short time.

The pictures look like the suspension that was on Josh car earlier, but the motor and battery got moved around. Can anybody confirm this?

Shaft/ Belt I don't care !! When will Kyosho finally put out a TC???? Its been too long and others are already out there running away with the market.(EP TC)

At this point, with the current release of the new Xray T2, it would have to perform way better than a T2 for all of us to drop everything and place our pre-orders for the Kyosho TC.

There have been many versions of the Kyosho prototype. I would be hold tight, untill Kyosho gets closer to a pre production model, before putting your judgments on the sedan. The TF-5 (shafty) is the closest thing to production currently. But It is slated for the Japan market only.

What was the car that Josh ran at Cleveland like? I know at the time no pictures were allowed to be posted, can anyone give any further info (or maybe pictures now we've seen the new version??)

The car does look pretty nice ... lets just see how it performs up till the Worlds

Many Thanks
Oli

Earlier in the fall he had a car with saddle packs(!), but who knows how many changes they have made since then.

Cleveland was still saddle packs..and was a much narrower chassis configuration than the DHI car...

If, you think the Xray T2 will be the best there is to have, then you're sadly mistaken. Future cars from other manufacturers will either meet or exceed the current crop of touring cars' level of performance. Touring car technology and design are steadily moving forward at an unbelievable pace! The simple fact, that, Kyosho is taking their time with this touring car speaks in volumes. I want to see the car(s) be just as good or better than anything else out there. So, if, it takes a little longer to make it happen - fine. I'm not going anywhere. Indoor season has a couple of months left and then its back to running nitro touring (my 1st love)! At the current pace, I don't see a release date until around fall of '06. Who knows, maybe we'll see it by the summer? Seeings as there isn't a final production car, yet, we'll probably have to wait a little longer.

I think the DHI car is the best looking out of all the layouts that has been posted on the boards so if they release the new car i hope its closer to DHI car than the saddle pack versions.

Well, until we get to see Josh's current version (come on Josh, give us something to look at, will ya'?!), I'm going to have to go with Adachi's ride.
