So what happened to your "BIG SOURCE" at Kyosho that told you it was a shaft car?????? So I guess all of us who said they were working on a belt car are all idiots right????? The next time make sure you have your facts straight.

before you bash just get your facts. It was when Josh went to Japan that the decision was taken to carry on with the belt car only. Apparently the shaft car was not living up to expectations.

It's got wishbones adapted to the track width of a TC, but they're not the same as the ones used on the TF-5.

I'm attaching a pic of the TF-5 and one of the new car so you can compare and see for yourself they've only got the basic layout in common.

This is what you posted so "My information (and believe me it's good) is that this car is the one" and you were wrong and your source wasn't that good.

I'm not gonna argue with you, since you are such arrogant. My info was what it was at that time and it was good then, things have evolved since so why don't you just shut your mouth.

Well you like to tell me to shut up alot. Here is another one of your great posts. You said "So why don't you shut up until more reliable information and pictures are available and i'll do the same" I did stay quiet till more reliable information was available wich show that what I and others wrote was right, and you information was wrong.

By the way it's so arrogant not "such arrogant" as you put it

Sorry, just checked - the arms, uprights, steering arms and motor mount are definately NOT from a BD.

In terms of transmission / electrics placement this car is basically a 2-belt version of the Kawada Sigma.

All electrics are in the same places, as is the motor and battery location, and spur/layshaft assembly. Interestingly, Tamiya's TA05 is again, the same basic layout with the motor/layshaft assembly swapped around.

I've got a BD sitting right in front of me:

Parts that are 100% different:
-upper bumper brace
-rear suspension arms
-motor mount
-steering arms

Parts that could be considered close:
-most of the red parts
-swaybar setup

I agree with ChadCapece theres no Yokomo BD parts on that car. I do like the layout and the looks of that mystery car though, looks like it has a lot of potential. You would think Kyosho would have a touring car in the US by now, considering the popularity of it.
