Sorry mate I've already parted with the stuff I didn't want, I'm keeping the rest. I've only really done 2 rounds in micro, and on the second one I had a proper shocker...

I'm looking into the TF-5 and I was wondering what people's thoughts were on the shaft vs. belt drive cars. Which one do you feel is better? I am partial to Kyosho, but I am always open to suggestions...

I would go for the belt car in any class, belts have proven superior, faster and easier to drive.

Tf5 Belt is good for any motor from stock to mod & easy to drive. Tf5 shaft is good for stock, any thing faster once u hit, ur gears will strip. The advantage is the acceleration its almost instant. I have both Stallion & TF5 as both car share the parts, same shell & etc.

Does anyone have a good setup for the Stallion, Rubber on carpet? I checked a few websites, but I can't seem to find any. I'm going to run 13.5 with Jaco Greens on carpet.

Thanks.

Regular Stallion. Can you send it my way anyway? I'd like to take a look at it to get some ideas.

My review of the Shin

You'll find a link to my setup a the bottom. It's a good base but I don't know how it'll be for the regular stallion as rear wishbones and steering are different. I'd say for the stering you might want to move it to the forward position to get it close to what the shin is... I'd recommend using the C diff bearing holders as well.

Great, thanks. I just wanted to get an idea of where to start with Rubber on Carpet, I've never run it before.

Do any of you know of a mail order shop that has Shin parts? Specifically I need the Shin steering bellcrank, I can't seem to find one.

Thx,
