jaybee just likes to show off, if you don't want the switches and lights, just run a piece of wire down the red side and another down the black side with a on light at the end, some around here used a long piece of wire so you could have coming out of the end, but i put a banana plug on the end of the box and use seperate wires to plug into the box. mine cost around 22.00 bucks. also radio shack has different style banana plugs, one kind was somewhere around 2.95 for four plugs two black, two red another pack was like 3.50 for two plugs, one red one black. hope this helps,

That sure is a pretty box , I built mine the way I did because I only wanted power when I flipped a switch. I didn't want my box 'HOT' all the time... -JB

Here`s what i`ve done...

Rather than make a seperate distro. box, i built mine into my Pit Table. It picks up power from either a car batt/power supply connected to it from the underside of the table.

My thinking was to tidy up my table, & not to add another item to my EVER increasing Pit Box.

Cheers
