World-class race announcer Charlie Suangka will be on hand to cover the announcing duties.

It is shaping up to be a great event!
Thats great news!

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on an F1 car but not sure about the rules. I'm liking the 3 racing F113 but the 180mm front conversion isn't out yet, as far as I know. Will this be the width requirement for the Reedy? I'd imagine a 21.5t motor will be required as well? Tires???
I understand that more info will be coming but I want to get stuff ordered ASAP.
Suggestions?

The Formula 1 rules are on the Reedy site www.norcalhobbies.com/reedyrace and the flier has been updated to accept the entry.

When will the invite entry list be updated? Hope to see drivers from different chassis out here making it happen. I see that Durango now has a sedan. Will they have a driver or two in the mix. Just a fan wanting my cake and eat it too ;-)

There is not a spec tire in F1. It needs to be a rubber tire manufactured to be used on a purpose made F1 Rims. The local preference is the Tamiya 1031 and 1032, or the Pit Shimizu equivalents.

Of course all touring car classes will be run on the Team Powers 34r tire.

We have both types of decoders (4 I believe). So we're going to be ready for everything. We even have house transponders and hybrids for use if we use the current software.
