This year's 2013 Reedy Race of Champions hosted at NorCal Hobbies was amazing. Great fun, very smooth program, great track, awesome races!

Check out the results over at www.NorCalHobbies.com to see how your favorite drivers did, info about the race, and likely some different videos in the near future too.

Wow, it's over. I'm happy and sad about that. It's allot of work orchestrating such an event, but I really like planning and the hustle and bustle of running the event. I love doing it. (right now we're building the indoor track again) There are so many people that tirelessly help out here at Nor-Cal Hobbies. The ones that make this place work I'd like to recognize - Especially Jon Johnson. Jon has filled my shoes in allot of the track work so I can handle other things. Lance Taylor is an unsung hero of the amazing grip we had, Lance maintains the outdoor track and made sure it was dust free this weekend.

I'd like to thank the Head of Tech this year - Mr. Joe Nolasco of P1hobbies.com he kept the tech line down to and everyone through 2 heats ahead of time.
The man on the mic all weekend - Charlie Suangka.
Jesse Stark for making it main day for what I've been wanting for 4 years - 2 man mic commentary.
My Staff - Manager Mr. Roger Serafin, Shawn Atwal, Matthew Bryne, and Dave Munoz.
My 2 secretaries - Mariana Riggio and Kathy Davenport.
My graphics guy & programmer - Cameron Wagner.
The Tech Staff - Tony Vega, Randy Laytrop, Michael Montuy, Josh Bister, Louis, Mariana Riggio, Shawn Atwal, Kirk Maxey,
Chef Dave of Dave's Cuisine and his lovely assistant Tino.

A big thank you to the good people at Associated and Reedy for letting us have the honor of hosting such an event. And to Liverc.com for their coverage of the event.

Remember our Sponsors when you make your purchases gentlemen. They are;
Reedy
Associated
Novak
Team Powers
Tekin
Awesomatix
Protek
TOP Racing
Thunder Power
Ko Propo
Protoform

I'd like to thank all of you for coming out, each year we beat a record turnout and this year was no exception, just under 150. Our best event yet.

Race 8 of invite, Heat 2 - the race to the line - It's such a suiting finish to an epic event.

Default Many Thanks

Just finishing up unpacking. Whew.
Thanks again to you Eric and the Nor-Cal crew for all the work you put into this event that Mr. Reedy has endowed us with.
The layout was challenging, the competition great, facility was ready, Charlie untiringly keeping it going all four days on the mic with Jesse adding his presence on Sunday and all of your Nor-Cal Hobbies hospitality fully evident, invite drivers that show us skills to aspire towards = four enjoyable days.

Thanks,
Alex

Wow, Tamiya is the team you can't beat no matter where you put them in the World! I bet if some companies stopped holding their own name-brand races to win at and focused instead on the big races, they might actually have a chance ! But you can always see through it like an XRAY

If you watch Rheinard's car it doesn't just have steering. It also has tremendous forward traction. Look how fast he can close on another car. It accelerates hard and straight every time. His cars have always looked this way...like he has more motor than anyone. However, they all have about the same power he can just put it down consistently. I think his car/setup lets him wood it out of corners where everyone else has to baby their cars or push/drift/spin out.

Yes, and if Tamiya payed better attention, their drivers might not have to race with Yokomo parts and Raceberry conversions (at EVERY event)
