Thank you Larry for taking care of pit spot reservations. It's the little things that make everyone happy.

Funny stuff McSmooth.

You are welcome to take any unlabeled spots when you arrive. Those will be first come first serve.

I tried to keep some of them grouped together but there are some singles mixed in with the teams. Its just how it worked out.
You earned a round for your efforts. Thanks!

Real nice the Dawson. Larry goes out of his way to make pit arrangements for everyone and now you want to shot him.

Default Extra Classes.

Hello All,
Ok here is the deal. ROAR is going to take registration up until raceday. Here is the catch.

If you plan to sign up when you arrive the class may be closed.

They are only going to fill out the heats only. So basically if there are 28 WGT cars they will only fill the heats to make 30.

So if you really want to run a class I would get in asap or you may be shut out.

I repeat if you plan to add more classes I would do so ASAP as you may get shut out because the classes may fill up.

Evidently nothing will preclude us from possible beaver or goat spotting. This is a disturbing development.

Mr. Pit Spot Assignment Guy!

Tolstoy had War & Peace, da Vinci had the Last Supper, and you, you’ve got Pit Tables.

It’s a long and lonely job!

Armed with a Sharpie, hundreds of feet of duct tape, and a whole lot of patience, you work your magic.

Abracadabra!

Most racers worry about being on an end spot next to their buddies, you just worry about breaking into a rage and committing battery.

Don’t ‘tase me bro!

So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, Picasso of the Pit Tables, because when it comes to art, your work is anything but abstract.

Why am I next to Dirla?!

Hell yeah son, you have been missed.

Thanks Drew

So I have never attended this sort of national event. Is it open to everybody?? What happens to the person who wins the event? Would he go to international event?? Is there any chance that non sponsored racers win the event at all?
I see some folks here will attend the event. Is it really worth spending a few hundred bucks just to go see the event? I mean I live in CA and flight cost would be at least $350. And hotel for 3 nights like $300. Maybe another $300 for other things... I love this hobby and have lots of car and am pretty serious about racing in local track. And I want to race in a big event like this eventually. But is it worth it? I'm just trying to be realistic.

It IMO is a fun event to go to. The person who wins gets a trophy as an award. As well as a chance to qualify for Worlds (modified classes mainly). Non-sponsored guys have won the races but if your are going to travel and expect to win you better be good. Although if you have not signed up for this event you would be on a waiting list. I would love to go to the event. I would def say this is a must do if you enjoy the hobby.
