I'll get my entry in later tonight..... mod TC and a 1/12 class! Hopefully Jonesy gets his in soon enough so I have a travel buddy. It's a decent haul from Indy!

I think to get triple A mains the class must have a certain amount of entries. Maybe 20? I don't know. I just looked real quick and didnt see anything in the rulebook but it was a quick glance.

Maybe someone else knows better.

I think all classes will most likely hopefully have triple A's since that is the most fair was of determining the national champ.
Yes that is what the rule used to be. I know they used it at the carpet nats in WA a couple of years ago.

So many disappearing entries from 17.5 sedan. Is this turning into amateur nats?

Most of the time they will run tripe-A mains anyway because you need some spacing between mains anyway. I have never been to a Nats that didn't run triple even though single mains was an option.

That's good news, as a spectator I much prefer triple A's.

Rick Answered that question. They still ran them at Timezone even though the Amateur class didnt have 20...same with Mod 12th scale there.

Cuffs is missing with 17.5 - but Dodge, i don't believe, was ever in that class...he's signed up for mod TC and 12th scale

but how's that mean its an amateur nats?

Robbie stated after the Snowbirds he wasnt running stock anymore and wanted to run 13.5 and Mod. Morganti I never saw on the list. But he should be allowed if he wants. You sure it was DJ Apallaro (SP) that your thinking of? He should be allowed too. As the rule for winning a national is not cross line on everything. Meaning if you won one in Nitro you can still run the stock class in electric. Off road is off road only. Electric on road is only for electric onroad. I remember that part of the rule being covered before.

How is enforcing a rule that's been on the books for years shooting themselves in the nads?

EA
Morganti or Dj can not run Stock due to having attended a Imfar worlds event in the last 5 years and finishing in the a-mains

Oh, I was just being facetious, there's plenty of fast guys in 17.5. I'm looking forward to moving out of their way.
