Tower Hobbies has the blue aramid belt for the standard TA05 listed as 167mm.
Not sure why the size difference. The layout looks the same.

After looking my car over last night it seems I have to much droop front and back...To get less droop should I turn the droop screws in(down) more and whats a good droop setting..... We now have a serpent at our track and he is fast as he!! and glued to the track.
I would start with the kit setting to start with then see how it goes from there, making sure it's equal both sides.
Hi any bro tried using 18T Centre pulley and Wide pitch differential pulley(36T size) Spure 70T, pinion 22T? Kindely adverise on this setting thks.

i built a shelf queen out of mostly 3racing stuff.
figured id built a working model out of the remaining stufff.
problem is the gearing.
what else am i missing that i will need for the front and back diffs?

Hi i would like to to know how do you guys setup ur TA05
Problem1: I'm using the carbon reinforced chassis. Check, it has no tweak (flat on the board). Shocks are also of similar length. However when full with electronics, my TA05 will sink down at the motor and servo side, making the chassis not horizontal with respect to the setup board. I assume its perfectly normal as the motor, ESC and servo are heavier relative to the Lipo Battery.
My question is, how do you go about rectifying the above problem? Do you use shock collar to raise the lipo side up or vice versa?
Problem2: I use tamiya standard springs with TRF Shocks. When I try to adjust 5mm ride height by turning the shock collars. I achieve the 5mm ride height BUT I noticed the suspension is very hard/stiff. This happens especially when i turn more than 4 rounds (front) and 2 rounds (Rear). Where am i gg wrong and what should i do? use Tamiya short springs?

There's a good breakdown of how everything fits together and what the corresponding part numbers are. Note that you can change the centre spur gear for most standard types if you want to run 48P or 96P.

1) Add some weight to the lipo side. Lead tabs generally will fit nicely along the center spine of the chassis, on the battery side. Even if you raise the ride height on the electronics side, your car will still be unbalanced from a weight standpoint and will not handle evenly left to right. If you're using a lipo that takes up all of the battery area space, you can servo tape the weights to the battery itself.
2) The preload collars are intended for adjusting ride height, not for adjusting spring rate. If a certain spring rate at a desired ride height is too stiff for your liking, switch to a softer spring to get a softer rate at your desired ride height. Tamiya also has an optional set of spring holders that are 1mm lower to help with ride height adjustments. for the guys running with a 3racing chassis...
are you using soft lipos or hard packs? just doesnt seem like much room for a hardpack. unless you are velcro'ing it onto the chassis.

Can someone tell me what might be the reason my TA05 wants to pull hard left when I give it throttle now........It's been running so nice but now when I give hard throttle it pulls left.Anyone else had this problem before............Never mind found problem.......Rear diff melted.

Anybody have an extra part "K9" (page 5 of the manual)? It's the center pulley cover. The part tree number is 115355.
I bought a roller and the previous owner cutthe antenna tube mount off. My 2.4Ghz has a short antenna and I need that part. I couldn't find that part online.
I was able to find the carbon replacement. I am running this in VTA so I want to keep the costs way, way down.
