When you guys use the TRF shocks on the TA05, what is the overall length of the shocks when your finished.
From tip-to-tip or from inside the upper mounting portion-to-inside the bottom mounting portion. Either one will do.
I took a look at the instructions while I wait for my kit, and I noticed they don't mention a specific length that the shocks should be when finished. I just want to compare the length of the TRF units to some of my other shocks.
Thanks.

Will a Cyclone TC2 (43mm x 28mm) fit in the TA05's rather restrictive ESC space? I know my LRP Runner and F1 Pro (40mm x 40mm) can't, there's not enough room between the motor and the back, but there is some more room from the side to the middle... just wondering how much. I can't look at the chassis since I'm away, and there's a TC2 someone's offering...
Thanks,
Thanks,

The 49293 uses the aluminum lower spring retainer
They are both the same otherwise

it will hurt the car ALOT if you run it into a log! lol it depends on the carpark. Its its clean and gravel free, and nice n smooth, just adjust your ride height a bit to give it clearance over any bumps or gravel on the surface. Thats if your worried about scratches etc. But if you dont care, just drive it how u like. but definately cover the open holes in the chassis with tape. Id even tape over the motor slot, but check the motor temp every 1-2 minutes.

why do you need to cover the holes? to block the sand and rocks?
I am just worry that if the sand gets into the belt and the gear... what would happen?

I have run mine twice now on a parking lot for club days, first day I taped up the holes, second day, I didn't, and there wasn't any difference realy, actualy, thats a fib.... When I taped the holes up, I had the rear belt flip on me, so not sure if that was a ston trapped....

Dark... all my TRF shocks are 62mm long (EvoIV/TA05/415). Hope that helps..
