true, I only say it in jest as ive got a 415msxx to build up and I straight away need a spool for it (kit comes with a one way) then in goes a brushless setup and maybe, eventually a lipo
Talk about a load of cash!

A 1E block in the rear will give 0.5 deg. more toe...then if you want more you'll need a narrower bridge block (in the front of the rear suspension) .

Anybody have a suggestion on inserts for b3 tires? The TCS in Seattle is gonna be on carpet. I've used b3's with yokomo med. inserts and they seemed to work pretty well (I was on a tq pace for half the race'til I bobbled). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks--Al

I would think the A compund tires would be the choice for carpet...so I'm not sure what insert. Probably any medium insert like a Take Off blue med. insert.

Is the "A" compuond for a lower temp track? One of the locals had mentioned that he had tried the A's, but he isn't especially fast. The b3's felt very similar to 28r's, just a hair slower...what tire isn't slower than a sorex though, lol.

I found a tech racing chasis conversion on ebay from jasons store:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TTA240-Tech-R...713.m153.l1262

You could also try shoot te guys at rc champ a line, they are very helpful at getting items like that in. I recently purchased the xenonracing chassis from them.

Hope this helps

Thanks for that
Ive checked out that kit but it seems to move the motor to the rear like on my 415 msx.so the tech racing kit is out of the question now.
i would like to keep the motor in the central postion.
Ive seen the 3 racing kits but from my previous experience of 3 racing is not a good one so i will steer clear of those too.

speedtech has a xenon kit which looks quite a nice piece of kit.
Its just my luck that they have none in stock at this present time.
Is anyone out there running the xenon ta05 kit?

still looking for a stockist of the kawada ta05 and the xenon

just a quick one now, are the diff half the same on the ta05 as the 415 msx?
thanks again

Not a typo. 1550 grams is the weight teched at the tamiya So Ca regional for GT-2. Heavier weight probably for the reason Maxpower stated.
