The car's setup is like totally not my style. i.e: Front Diff instead of one-way or Spool, 1 degree rear toe instead of 2 or 2.5 degrees and 0.4 module gears instead of 64 pitch gears. ......however, the TA05 is still driveable like that and I just have to be a little careful applying power with a 10T.
What impress me most is how flat the car is in the corners and yet without any hint of understeer. ....let a few 'regulars' at the track try it and immediately they wanted one ! ...all this with a car that's not even tuned yet !
btw, I'm really impressed by these new 19T spec mod motors ......they are really fast (For the price), I would certainly recommend the Orion Element 19T to new potential TA05 players, fits the car to a Tee.
Unfortunately there are no 19T TC races here.

Sorry to bother you guys again but, whats the main diff between 48pitch and 64pitch spurs/pinion gears? Right now on my TC3 i have a 48pitch 72t spur. It is loud but, is it the higher the pitch lower the noise? If so please tell me asap. I'm about to order 48pitch spur and pinion gear for the TA05..

ok....day two with the ta05, suspension went together ok....was a little flashing left on some parts this is not normal for tamiya...but it was all good once together. still there does seem to be some slop in the rear arms that will have to be shimmed out, anyone else have this???? got the speedy in, just. and found a servo that i had already trimed the same ear of for another car. wont be putting shocks on till sunday when i get a new set of threaded body shocks so then i will see how bad these shock towers are!!!!!

Nice ttso, I like the photo version better! But you should redo it with no electronics installed.. hehe...
No, I don't have mine yet. I think it'll be here next week just in time for the TCS up in MD. So we shall see. I'll have my EvoIV for GT1 and the TA05 for GT2. If I really really like the TA05... I may run it in GT1 as well. But we'll see.....

For those who runs digital servos or any other expensive servos, make sure you're not planning to use it on other cars in the near future! I still need to get an ESC for it, then I'll test drive it and see how it stacks up to my old TA-04 Pro.

Real quick questions folks... Will the TC3 Aluminum CVD's fit the TA05?

"Oh, I forgot to mention... those suspension blocks go with 0 degree rear hubs. Not the 1 degree hubs. It's also for LW suspension as well.......
It's basically giving you 2degrees front sweep. And 2.5 degrees rear toe." - KillRuf
Ah, I emailed Champ R/C and they say that there are no 0 degree rear hubs.
