I set them vertical by moving the ball end out as far as possible without falling off the bar.
YES, I can 2nd that, push back the upper link of the swaybar ball end and lean back the whole link...toward the back of the car. and make sure the collet is AWAY from the CVD.....remove the shocks, and push the suspension arm up and down and make sure the shaft is no where near the sway bar linkage.

I ran outdoor....and I decided to not using sway bar at all.

OK seriiously...

What is the largest spur you can run on this car? 105?

To make the right gear ratio we might not even be able to run 105 and say a 25T pinion...or can we?

KK....I think I can replace you instead of NEXUS for the weekend T-bone special....let me think about that....

Yes, back to the topic....I have try to mount the 105 stock spur with something like 22-23T pinion.....however, that aluminum upper brace on my TA05R does not allow me to move my 4.5 any closer to the spur....I think I can mount the 26/27T...thats it...

Don't made me use the dremel and hack off that aluninum center brace that can not be bought as a option parts from Tamiya....

If I can't get the ratio to run a Novak 4.5R system in this TA05R then there will be one partly built TA05R up for sale soon!!

Use a 109 spur and then you can get in the gear ratio you'll need for a 4.5
I use the 109 with a 25 pinion, puts me at 9.8. The spur sticks at the bottom slightly but no interference. You can also use a 108 spur and that should work also to get you in the ratio you need, this doesn't stick out the bottom at all.

Xenon! This is 64 pitch! You can order them through WWW.SPEEDTECHRC
They are white and very smooth. They also sell the pinion sizes you need, if you don't already have them!
