If you've had a Tamiya kit before, you'll probably have a 19T pinion somewhere...
Hope this helps

I started off with the TA04-TRF and add the TA04/TB02 LW reversible arms set.

Oh yes, also changed to the super conductive LW graphic reinforce Tub chassis version 3. as I hate to scrape the lovely SSG chassis on tarmac.

I do has one but not fit on TA05 because TA05 steering bellcrank is smaller than TRF415's.

Hiya all ! ....I'mmmmm backakk !

I have to apologise to all for not being able to proceed with the test drive review and can only offer these 4 lame excuses:

Excuse #1
My tool's too short ! and I dun believe in using non-hardened tools ! .....As you can see from the pic below there is a good 1" gap between the tool's tip and the motor mounting screw hole. The kit does however supply the longest 2.5mm L shaped allen key I've ever seen. Oh well, I just have to go hunt for a longer hex driver. Can't run the car If I can't mount the motor

Excuse #2
I got a Nosram Evo ESC laying around and was thinking of using it

but the Red casing kinda clashes with the rest of the car so like a True Blue Tamiya fan (No pun intended) decided to go buy a LRP Q2.
However on the way to the LHS, an garbage dumpster went pass and something flew out and hit me on the head, When I took a look at the object, it was a box with some wordings like KO VFS-1 Pro and inside I found this ! .......(Yeah, Yeah ! right !)

Now the problem is that I do not know what settings this KO esc is at (Stock or Mod) pending the purchase of a handheld programmer/ PC interface or another Garbage truck passing by. Anyone familiar with this ESC ?
Chris ? ....I need to know what profile is the factory default setting good for.
Another related problem is that the stock TA05 gearing ratio is from 7.50:1 to 6.30:1 .....neither Stock nor Modified ?!?

Here a pic of the Electronics I'll be putting into the TA05.

Excuse #3
Checking the car I found that I've only got 1 degree of rear toe in with the LW arms and stock Susp blocks. dun think this will work at my local track, I guess I've got to wait for the 415 Susp blocks after all !

Excuse #4
Have been working (day job) 7 days a week without breaks for 2 weeks now, dead tired and sleepy.... sometimes .... starting to hallucinate things now !... ...I see garbage trucks full of R/C stuffs running around everwhere ! ...yawn ! .....goodnite all ! ...zzzzzzzzz

Hi All,

Could someone scan the instruction manual of this car for me please? I would like to review it before I get the cash out and buy one.

Many Thanks,

Alan

NOSRAM is European, Its what hara uses before and (i think) they are the ones making the Twister ESC by HARA. The Functions are almost the same as the Quantums. I have a lower end version of NOSRAM ESC (Dominator) as my backup its only has an 11T limit, compared to the LRP Q ProSport which is cheaper and can handle 8T the LRP has more value for money.
