No price listed at Tamiya America because they're not in stock yet. Once they get some in stock, then they'll throw a price up on them.

Well, it's one way to get the ride height down.. some of my stiffer XRay springs won't let me get the chassis even close to our 5mm minimum, especially with the larger foam tires.

Is there a way to buy just the thin black preload screw collar from the older TRF Dampers? That'd free up a couple mm's too.. I already bought the 1-down retainers.. this may be the next step.

$6-7 on the bay. Search for seller jr-rc. Jasons listing includes 8 or 9 sets of these.

Just to add to what's already been said; running sway bars lets you run softer springs also. I would imagine most Tamiya springs are designed to be run with sway bars.

Also, Tamiya's japanese and european markets are mainly rubber tire-oriented, not foam, so there's no need for 30lb. springs.. we'll just buy associated or XRay springs if needed.

Just look at their lightweight suspension, should say it all.. they haven't made any provisions to get foams to fit in the front, as it seems to be mainly a North American market thing..

They're slowly making a few adjustments here and there to accomodate our market (The 415 came out years ago, but an official front diff had JUST been released..), but in the meantime it's up to us to make it work (Pro4 knuckles/CVD's, etc..)

Default toyota MR-S body

Hey all

I was wondering if anyone knows if the wheelbase of the TA05 can be adjusted to fit the MR-S body, or do I have to buy the TA04SS arms? Has anyone used the MR-S body before? whats it like?

thanks

If the TA04 rear ars fit, then the TA04 short wheelbase rear arms should work. That is how the short wheelbase is achieved.

we used to use the MRS body all the time with the TA04. the car not only looks really good, but it rotates really well. Doc Mertes ran a TA05 this past year's TCS regional in Aliso Viejo with the MRS Body. and his car looked good.

i am purchasing a set of the ta05 shocks to run on my dirt oval car. I am currently running tc3 shocks with .35 length front shafts and .71 rear shafts. Am I going to be able to get longer shock shafts for these shocks as well?? Any help would be great.
