Yes it's worth every penny. It gives much better feel through the corners and is much more predictable. I run the short arms in the front and the long in the rear which give me more on power turn in on asphalt. I ran for almost a year with the stock suspension with the graphite arms and I wouldn't even think of going back to it.

As long as you put the hole where I talked about, it'll work perfectly for you.

if your just starting to run your TA05 and getting used to it, i would say stick with the stock suspension for a while.

This seems to be the ONLY deviding issue around here, with some saying its worth it, while others think its not.

I'm definitely in the "NOT" party. The stock suspension works excellent and is highly durable. And like you said the LW suspension is not cheap by any estimation.

Absolutely...run the stock suspension until you feel its at it's limit, then maybe, maybe try the LWS....I have yet to need it...the stock suspension rocks, and is a tank!! Did I stress maybe!

I have a general Tamiya question: Why do Tamiya springs run so soft? It seems the stiffer springs in the Tamiya line up often compare to the medium springs of other brands. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

For some reason Tamiya cars tend to like to be set up softer than other cars...not sure why.

Could someone make a suggestion about finding body posts. I need a new set and everywhere I look is out of stock and Tamiyausa has them as discontinued. Is there a good alternative or am I looking in the wrong places? Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Very cool, thanks guys, that clears things up a bit, & pretty much fits what I was planning to do anyway(my tendency is to get used to a car first before I make any significant changes to it, but I still like to get the lowdown on the stuff I keep hearing about along the way), for now I think the most I'll change is puting universals on it & maybe playing with toe settings a bit(once I can get the blocks, Speed Tech's out of stock right now)....

If you change to the Graphite towers you will like using the short springs more.

53636 - Purple [Hardest]
53635 - Grey
53633 - Short White
53632 - Short Blue
53631 - Short Yellow
53440 - White
53440 - Blue
53440 - Yellow = 53630 - Short Red
53440 - Red [Softest]

Each spring is useful depending on track conditions.

Word! This list is nifty!! But if you happen to know the poundages that would be worth a super handy!
