I just ordered my roll bar set from Demon here in the UK, I reckon it will make a difference on carpet - I run foam and my old xxx-s g+ transformed itself handling wise when a thicker front bar was added, that was a heavy car too.

Last year, on Carpet Dragons and kit chassis, the car would wash out going into a corner and break away mid corner due to chassis roll, stuck the bars on it and it was pretty well dialed, awesome.

Just got a 3Racing one-way now too.

I too will be running carpet dragons. I think I have very hard inserts in them. I might get a 3 racing chassis too. Got universals on the way for the front and a Ride MK3 shell with a new C027.

Dragons are pants, too tall a sidewall, I ended up using inch-up rims and 26mm wide on firm inserts to stop the tyre from squirming.

Got my aluminum outdrives and MRE pulleys on the car. Pretty slick, but those pulleys just look wrong! No skipping at all though with a 19t in it!

the TA05 pulleys are 36tooth the MRE are 18tooth, basicaly they have removed every other tooth on the pulley so you get more efficient belt wrap.

Couldn't we just do that to the pulley?? Is it that more efficient, better, cooler?? My tranny is pretty smooth already, but I guess there is always room for improvement!--Al

It uses 9 balls instead of 8, has a beefier build and half the teeth. For thr 3 bux they cost, I would just pick them up..the time it would take to remove the teeth from the standard one wouldn't be worth it.

I run the stok suspension and a guy told me that using the lower mounting hole on the rear upright would make the rear end more planted. Has anyone tried it yet?? Good points civic!!--Al
