What would be the replacement suspension blocks for the TA05 and where is the cheapest place to buy them?
The ballcups are Tamiya precision ones...and I'm not quite getting your 2nd question.
The cheapest would prolly be rc-mart/ rc mushroom/ Champ R/C, any of the overseas shops but I get all my stuff from my home track

Man all your rides look so awesome compared to my stock 05. I might have to break apart my blue trees and mount them on my 05. That clear stuff is the bomb bro. I'm so jealous because yours is done and mine isn't. Where's my parts MR POST OFFICE???

If your running stock or 540 class...the stock ones are fine. Beyond that I would either go to the carbon fiber pieces or the reinforced plastic/carbon pieces.

The car still seems to handle great dispite this issue. So unless its bugging you to know that they flex, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Of course it does give you a reason to buy hop ups, and there aint nuthin' wrong with that.

Anyone figure out a good set-up that doesn't use sway bars?? I'm running on high bite outdoor asphalt. I currently have a pretty good set-up using only the front yellow sway bar (kit springs),but I am looking to lose those extra grams. I'm gonna give xray blue springs a try up front(approx. 20-22 lbs). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!--Al

Looks the same as the other tamiya carbon fiber molded part (lowerdeck, bulkhead) ..... in a galce, looks almost the same as plastic...
Better get the carbon graphite one ... it's lighter ...

Personal Opinion: Don't worry about the added weight of the sway bars. I bet that if if you added how ever much the sway bars weigh to the car, you wouldn't notice any (if much) difference

Example: Look at what happened to Jeff Gordon at the Brickyard. Once his sway bar went away, his car lost all pace around the track. Now a NASCAR team, searching for any advantage possible uses a sway bar instead of a stiffer spring. Sway bar doesn't stiffen the front suspension. It may give a feel of less steering, but it doesn't so much to stiffen.

I'm not trying to keep you from trying something out. I just think your'e trying it out for the wrong reason. Good luck and let me know how it works

The car is heavy, you need the sway (anit-roll for us UK drivers) bar in there to keep the chassis under control into a corner and, mor importantly, when you got to flick left right.
