A safe bet would be 104/36 for a larger track, a tooth or two less for tighter tracks.. around a 6.5:1 FDR, but then again even the same 2 motors can vary..

Rogier: It's a 2.25:1 internal ratio.

Default Lt.weight reversible susp arm turnbuckles

Dear all,

I'd like to know how long the upper arm t.buckles of the lightweight rev. suspension (53899) is ? Also the steering link turnbuckle ?

I'm interested to buy this arm and will replace the upper arm (fr and rr) with titanium or alum.

About the alum t.buckles, what's the part number 'cause I see this is only come from TRF415 .... ?

Thanks for the help..

Funny, I just ordered these for my TA05 yesterday. You need 6, 3x28mm turnbuckles. 2 for the front camberlinks, 2 as steering links and 2 for the rear camber links. Tamiya part #53872 for the Titanium ones.

Actually, I think for steering the size should be 3x23mm. 3x28mm might be a tad too long

The steering links that come with the TA05 are 3x23mm, but the new Reversible LW suspension set for the TB02/TA05 comes with 3x28mm steering links for the TA05. With all that said, I'm pretty sure the 3x23s would work just fine also. Give me a couple days and I can validate it.

akuhon, get them from Steve. He's got the best prices in town!!!!
