Damn that's heavy. My full option TA05 was 1500g last week running Stock TC. I was shocked that I had to put on weight to make 1525g min. hehe.... I would start with the Ti screw kit and the carbon tub chassis.

This is mine,
It's almost 100% using hop up option from Tamiya.
Only the alum motor mount from 3Racing.
I'm after a durable chasis, so this is what I come up with.

Please see the pics.

It looks like the Futaba 9550 servo. I am running the same servo.

Actually, I think KO has just come out with a low profile servo of their own like the 9550.

Darkseid:

your right the new KO low profile servo (2413) is like the 9950. it seems smoother during operation. it has a extra drive gear over the Futaba.
I haven't weighted my TA-05 yet. but I have added the Graphite chassis, bulkheads, & stiffners. I am running a JR 8800 servo, KO 302 Rx. KO Speedo Novak Super Cap. either TRF shocks or TRF non coated shocks.
I am thinking of getting the new Tamiya motor mount, hollow centre shaft, white/blue belts. need the 1 degree hubs Civic99 told me about.
so far I love my TA-05. I just need more track time (I just started playing in the dirt again so......)

Thanks

Yes, you're right. I'll probably replace with the KO servo, later...
