Yeah, I was happy to see what material Tamiya used for the outdrives on the spool!

Any advantage in the 'clear blue' parts chaps?

What are common parts to break on the TA05? I'd like to have some spares, and my LHS will stock common parts to break if I let them know what to order... I'm re-learning and hitting the boards at least once a session. Sometimes farily spectacularly

I can honestly say that I have replaced every suspension part on my car...........only because they got old and sloppy. These cars simply just don't break very easily. I did bend 1 hinge pin , I bought the coated ones and have had no more problems...........

Japan will have the motor mount the 29th of June..

48mm CVD's should work with the stock suspension blocks and wider, but it'll be too tight if go with narrower blocks

I figured as much! I have really had some nasty crashes, and nothing has broken. I'll just keep on truckin' and learning. Sink my money into some Type A's to replace the kit rubbers vs. spare parts. Thanks!

Hi guys,

Just want to post a quick note we have some of the new TA05 hop-ups in stock:

Light Weight center shaft

Aluminum sway bar holder

New short reversible arms

Titanium nitride coated 2.6mm outter suspension shafts

Also, most of the spares and hop-up parts are in stock as well. We will also be putting up an article on the TCS legal TA05 project car, which will be raced in next month's Tamiya TCS regional in the GT-1 class (wish me luck...)

If anyone is still not sure if they want to get a TA05... well all I can say is you should

So far this car has given me 3 podium finishes (top 3 only) and I'm no full time racer. Never finished in the top 3 with my other EP car. It's so much easier to drive and not much setup changes needed.

Hub Bearings for the LWS are 5x9mm.
