As for the reciever, you really shouldn't have any problems mounting it where its designed to go. I'm surprised to see so many people say they mount theirs on the servo. Unless your running budget radio equipment, there really isn't any reciever that shouldn't fit. I use a Novak Xxtra, which is about at big as there is, and it drops down in there just fine.

i was running a 23T with that ratio.... Was just wondering if i'm hitting the right ratio since in my old TC i was using 5.8 ratio.

as for the receiver, it will fit right there but there seems to be some concern with the rubber antenna fitting.... I'm currently using a Futaba receiver. My issue with mounting on top of the servo is center of gravity,, with everything mounted low on the TA05, i was hoping to mount the receiver low as well... thanks! GREAT THREAD!

Got a question for you guys. I am picking up my TA05 tommrow and already have some hopups sitting on my desk and some that the PO installed. It has or will have aramid belts, F&R universals, TRF dampers, carbon shock towers, hard arms. My question is what other hopups are recommended. I plan on running this and comparing it to my 415MS and possibly running this on a weekly basis instead of the 415. I'm not interested in installing the lightweight suspension as my 415 has that and I want this car to be bullet proof and a little easier on maintenance.

Also what are the alloy suspension mount blocks that are comparable to the stock plastic mounts or what do you guys recommend, do I need any bridge blocks? I have 4 1D blocks I don't use on my 415, also some other misc ones, but want to pick up basically a set of 4 std ones to start with.

Sway bars would be nice to have, but beyond that you're pretty set..

Suspension blocks are the equivalent to A's, I believe, and you need bridged mounts for both the front and rear belts. I just went and bought a range of X to XD mounts, and they all include spacers to allow easy flipping for any you need bridged.

Groff, you sound pretty set. remember that the 05 uses all the same suspension gear off the 415/ta04 etc etc. So you can still use the d blocks from the 415, but it will be as wide as if you put the D blocks on the 415 etc. So suspension wise, u can use the same theories and parts between cars, but you will get different results due to different chassis' etc. I need a second set of 415 blocks for my cars. Ive run out of setup options when i ran out of blocks!

One question for those who own the ferrari kit,

the rear wing kit that is included in the kit, is it the one that you can use on any kind of body(meaning TCS legal)?

Thanks
