It's call business...
Glass fiber reinforced -> Carbon reinforced -> Carbon fiber
TA05 -> TA05R -> TA05TRF -> TRF416?

Hell, but I won't go for CF chassis anyway. My track now need lots flex... unless they make 2mm CF chassis

Yeah, I thought so too...

With all the TRF parts I put on my car I think you can consider it to be a TA05R maybe TA05TRF if only it had the carbon fiber chassis

23 to a 25 on a 78 (48dp) on tight carpet tracks on either an EA stock or a little higher for an Atlas based 19t

Santa got here a little late this year but i finally got to put together my TA05 yesterday. Build was quite enjoyable. The one thing i found not as i wanted, it seemed to me i had to work harder than i think i should have to get the front and rear diff assemblies onto the chassis. The mounting positions were spread outword. I loosened the bulkhead caps off a bit ans was able to get everything together ok. I cant wait to get out to the track to try it out.

The track I run on has a 100ft straight and a tight infield. I have been running 108/33 for a monster stock. I tried a C2 19t yesterday and 108/35 felt pretty good.

Hi Guys,

In working with Tamiya, we should have these parts about 4-5 days after it is releaed from Japan. Some of these parts are released end of Jan., some middle of Feb., and some late Feb.

On you guys running the larger tooth spurs gears, I assume you are running 64 pitch? Thanks

track i go to is really really tight, not much of any straight. as of moment w/roar epic, i use 16/70. might go 17 later but motor is toasty as is.

f2000racer,

This particular one, no, it will not. As TCS season gets underway, we will have another project car that is completely TCS legal and we'll also provide information on why each hop-up was used and its benefits. A couple of our good customers did really well at the TCS Nationals last year with their TA05 and I'm hoping to pick their brains a bit with the Project TCS TA05 when that comes around
