Thanks,

This is the part number for the TRF shocks I bought. 49293 They are blue anodized and come with yellow springs.

gray is super hard-53635 (discontinued)
maroon is ultra hard-53636

ta04 and ta05 owners...

SInce there is only one box stock version of the TA05 which car would be considered better...

A TA05 or TA04R Tuned Chassis Kit.

Just wondering since both can be found for about the same price.

TA04R Tuned Chassis kit is a great car. BUT you will need to do some dremel work to make the newer (3700 and up) batteries fit.

Ohio TCS, if it's the same as last year... then it's carpet. I've never been. But I might be heading out there next year. Depends if I can get that Monday off as a travel home day.... But I WILL be goin to PA and MD TCS races.... Body? I like the NSX.

Ohio TCS = smooth carpet, Type A's with medium inserts. NSX, Modena, and 350Z Nismo all worked well there last year.

Hey what is a good standard wheel tire combo for the Ta05 running on cold asphalt, also do I need to use wheels with the offset it came with? In other words I am a newbie to r/c cars, and would appreciate help with the options. I already used Speedtech so I would be happy to buy from Steve again... Thanks Al

Spool is good for tight tracks when you have to brake. It also has the effects of a one-way.
