and heres a link to it at Tamiya's site. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...uct-id=9335440

I found it using the above number, but they also list it as:

"RC Chassis 58345
item#9335440"
$11.00

Hope this helps.
Perfect! Thank you sir

ti or the alum screws?
alum turnbuckles?
liteweight rear universals?
carbon shock towers?
lw suspension?

your suggestions are appreciated
Ill take a stab at this -

CF front and rear Shock towers
Install a 9550 servo
Ti screws
Ti Turnbuckles (i hate alu ones)

The rest has consideration for what type of track you race on. Indoor carpet, u would want to stay with your std suspension, outdoor asphalt, go with LWS.

Not sure if its tcs legal to cut two small slots in the chassis so u can use tape instead of the battery strap?

Dongskie, got my TA05 tonight! Raybrig NSX.

Also got front/ rear carbon damper stays, the stabilizer set (f&r) and ball bearings for the steering arms to replace the bushings.

I'll use the TRF shocks from my TAO4R, and maybe the arms and hubs later on. (Btw, does anyone know if those arms and hubs from the 04 r-tuned chassis kit are the hard arms or the lightweight reversible ones? Thanks.)

Wait , why did I get those bearings? I already have those on the 04! Tsk.

I'm building it through the holidays and will start to run it in the first races of 2006.

Hope you can share with me your settings for Speezone.

See you at the track!

I believe they are just the hard standard arms, not the lightweight reversible ones.

Default lost crescent ring

Started to build my 05 tonight. I frustratingly lost one of the crescent rings for the center shaft. It seems okay to run it without one on one end. Any suggestions or comments which may help?

I also tried using a small e-clip and it looks like it clears the mount. Is this a good idea? or should I just leave one end without a c-ring?

Thank you very much.

i have try a Xenon chassis , but i go back to my previous set up ( the original chassis with the tech racing upper deck....the upper deck from xenon and tech racing are the same ).The xenon chassis is a real nice parts , i think it's well made and efficient but the problem ( for me )is from the plastic bulkhead.
On the plastic chassis the lower parts from the bulkhead goes into hole, for good fit , for the carbon one the bulkheads sit on a flat surface and they are not so well maintened.
When i test flex on the plastic chassis, no probs , rigid but all go back in place easy
With carbon you hear plastic parts working when you test flex , and the chassis keep sometime some tweak..
Meaby with aluminium bulkhead it's better , but it's too expensive for the moment.
i have a better feeling with the original one .and i can see the differance with the lap time and how i drive against my friends car ( fk05 and tc4 factory)
