You have no off power steering purely because you have no rear droop. What you have effectively done, is to completely limit the weight transfer when you get off the throttle. When you get off the throttle, a car will usually lurch forward, and the front end becomes compressed as the weight moves forward, weight over the front equals alot more grip which is more steering. Small adjustments to rear droop can effect this, if your getting too much steering off power or too little. In this case, back off your droop screws so u have 1-1.5mm of droop on the rear, and try it. Make small adjustments to it to get it just right. I had a bad over steer off power problem. So i reduced the droop and solved it quickly.

Hey guys, I was checking out the TCS rules on Tamiya's page and had a question.

What about the turnbuckles? I didn't see the rulling on that. If I go to Ti turnbuckles, would they have to be Tamiya's to remain legal?

Thanks.

I'd just go with Tamiyas ti turnbuckles...they seem to be about the same cost as Lunsfords.

Default BLOCKS ARE FRUSTRATING ME!

Hey all, just a quick question- I bought some of the TRF415 blocks which supposedly fit the TA05 aswell. Problem is the TRF blocks have ball type mounts whereas the TA05 kit blocks have a hole where the rod slides in directly. Are special ball type connectors needed to fit the suspension arm rod into the blocks?

Hi Nick,

You will need to get suspension balls which fit over the shafts and then go into the suspension blocks. The part number you are looking for is 50994 - 5mm Suspension Balls

Default Which Tamiya Body

Hey Guys,

Which Tamiya bodies are most popular in your TCS series in SuperStock I think it's your GT2 class, here with us the Honda NSX is a firm favorite along with the NISMO GTR Skyline and the new Ferrari F430 looks like it's gaining popularity too.

typically at the TCS races i have been to, itll be either the F360 Modena, or the NSX, although, i did run the F430 with good success, and also the CLK Mercedes ran well for me. i want to try the new Audi A4 DTM next, tho.

NSX. (pick any year - yes there are differences. ) 360 Modena is discontinued. I liked this body better than the F430. never tried a skyline (old and new version)

Turbonium... sent you a PM.. email me when you can

Low cost (whatever is laying around in the spares pile) chassis stiffener.
The turnbuckles from the diff housing to the outboard chassis cover mounting screws, both front and rear took out about 2/3 of the chassis twist flex. Plus it also allows you to adjust tweak. The CF strap from the rear to the motor mount realy locks the tail down eliminating almost all the rear pod flex.
This setup was used for stock carpet. Sticks great and very consistent.
Not being one of the fast guys, I got help with setup from one of the local hotshoes, he plans on geting one too now.
40W AE oil, 3 hole pistons, white front yello rear springs, no sway bars.
Still has the LW rear susp and std front susp.
