dongskie - hav u tried using sphonge tires on your tao5 to have more traction there at speedzone. I think they're cheaper at 700 a set. just for speedzone i think its better than using rubber.

Well yes I did try... but doing so means a lot of tuning with the suspension, and returning to rubber does the sameadjustments again.... I'm happy with the rubber set-up already.... it's keeping pace with the nitro cars anyway..

charlie_b - the track is here
www.speedzone.com.ph
they have the most accessible and top notch facility in manila. there's also a race cart track beside it and a resto near by. pretty nice facility.

I know I may be committing a faux-pas by asking this because the answer may be buried in the previous 50 pages of this thread, but are there tips on building the TA05? I'm starting tonight and would rather do it right the first time than have to revisit things...

Build it to the manual, 40wt oil in the shocks, smallest holes in the pistons and take your time, thats it, thats all you need to know.....

Oh, you may need to remove a little amount of material from the hinge pin area on the rear wishbones so the hubs fit.
