I stayed at the La Quinta last year and it was good. I think the rate was $70/night last year, and it looks to be $60/night right now according to trip advisor.

Motel 6 looks a little cheaper ($50 a night or so) but is further away.

For what it is worth, I live here in CO (albeit an hour and change away from the track) and will be staying at the La Quinta for the weekend of MHIC.

Did a quick Hotwire check and found these hotels. The Golden one looks decent based on the ratings. The Wheatridge hotel looks a bit doggy.

We're just missing a few now. Paulie and Andrew most notably. I wonder if Baker will finally walk through our doors? He's been threatening us with it for so long.

Dang it!!
I'll be in the Denver area that weekend but I'll be working. No, check that...If I leave early, I can probably make it as work doesn't start till Monday. Will signups be accepted at the track? Gonna run 17.5 TC and WGT.

Rick, How's the servo mount working for you? Comments, suggestions? The servo saver cams are coming along too.

yes, you can sign up at the race, but the cost will be $10 per class higher. you also will not get a shirt.

Just to clarify...

1) Yes, I do know that this is not an oval event
2) Special thanks to Mike Haynes and Wernimont for nagging me to enter the race (You all have them to blame...)
3) Special thanks to Mike Haynes for the rent-a-ride
4) Reinforcement for the boards is probably not a bad idea, but I was thinking more of a catch fence for Ficco when I punt his A$$ just on principle.

If you want the previlage of punting Mario's BIG beehind off the track you'll have to sign up for one of the 12th or WGT classes, which you have cars for, so man up and run some pan car.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned before, but right now the track is cash only. That means tires, late entry fees, traction compound, etc.

There's an ATM in the same strip mall as us at the giant grocery store (King Soopers) a few units down.
