Thanks for the updates V12, they are much appreciated!
Good point Shane, If Spash were wheeling a JRX-S I think things might look a bit different.

Give me a break; the Losi team has been running sedans for years.

Spashett have wheeled a JRX-S. Came third in the B-final at the DHI-cup in Denmark, same race conditions as the LRP Masters.
Now he is third in the A-final...

The Losi Team used to include Dumas and Lemieux, as well as a few other carpet aces. Not to take anything away from Kinwald, Francis, etc. But they are certainly not the On-Road Specialists that Rheinhard, Hara etc, are. Also bear in mind that they are working with a completely new design, and it will take time to work it out. Where as the HPI, X-Ray, TRF, AE, and Corally camps are working with extremely evolutionary designs. It'll come around eventually. I just think guys like Spash, Dumas etc could get it where it needs to be alot quicker.

Great point. Francis and Kinwald are killer drivers in the dirt but on-road requires a whole different driving style. I am one of the least likley persons to ever own another Losi, (AE all the way) but I don't think that we should dog the car until we have all had a chance to run it.

Hello????
How many JRX-S were in the A-Main last WC? If i remember correctly it was two. Spashett and Francis.
Stop using bad excuses to cover up the poor carpet/rubber performance of the JRX-S. They have had the time it normaly would take to make a new car work in different conditions. The team drivers have had the proto for almost a year now.
Doesn't Hupo Hönigl run the JRX-S? He is a touring guy and is used to rubber on carpet. When he can't make the car work then something must be wrong. I'm not saying the car won't evever work, but apparently it is very hard. Yes, the design is revolutionary, but so are other cars too.

At last someone who i agree with. The last time i checked the Yokomo BD and the hot bodies cyclone were the newest cars on the block and have probably not been tested as extensivly on carpet as the losi has. They seem like a team that are disillusioned whith the product. Does anyone really think losi would send a team of drivers there from the US with no rubber tire carpet racing under there belt? I think not.

The Yok BD and HB Cyclone are identical the their shaft drive counter parts. The geometry on BD is exactly the same as the SD. The belt drive set-up is better for big tracks and the shaft is better for tight tracks. Thats why Masami ran the SD at the recent JMRCA stock nats. So no new testing was really required except to figure out final drive ratio.

Round 3 is up. Marc is a little faster than everyone each time but Masami made a big leap up.
