Itīs just a few days left for the Masters to start. This friday will be the first day with practice for the masters class. From what I heard today some of the factory drivers are here already and do some practice at tracks in Germany and Switzerland.
Just read the Losi guys will arrive tomorrow.

This race always was big and interesting but this year this will be the biggest number of worldclass drivers ever at an European race.
We will see if Marc will be able repeating his victory from last year but there will be a huge number of drivers chasing him. Also this will be the first major race for David Spashett for the Tamiya team.
Iīm sure alot of racers and spectators will await Masami with his new BD and Hara and Surikarn with the new HB car to name just a few.

Beside the Pro guys is there anyone from this forum attending the race? The final entry list isnīt out yet. Will be tomorrow or Thursday.

Iīm starting in 17T. I donīt think that I can make the A but hopefully the B. My Yokomo CGM goes very well... so itīs just me who can loose.

I think the Yokomo guys will be very fast in the Masters class. They will fight against HPI/HB, Tamiya and perhaps Corally. Iīm not sure which Corally drivers come. I donīt think that a Xray can drive in the A. Perhaps B or C. Just my opinion.

The controlled tire for the Masters class is the VTEC 24R.

Iīll be there on all three days and making some pictures. But I wonīt have an internet access during the day and it will take some time for preparing the pictures. But I hope I can do a small report each evening when Iīm at home again. Itīs good the track is just about an hour away from me.
I have heard there will be a Live coverage trackside but I donīt know what exactly this means and if itīs working.

Maybe Orion will do a report afterwards. I think they did this last year also.

If there will be a live coverage than it will be by someone from LRP or the race organizers.

so does that mean sorex tyres are made by pit?

Sorry but thatīs not true. I have some VTEC tires and these are different from Sorex tires. But youīre right VTEC and Nosram tires are the same as VTEC and Nosram parts are the same anyway.
And yes from what I know the VTEC tires are made by Pits.

I'm wondering why we cannot see Gilles Grosskamp on the entry-list? He is the favourite of xray on carpet

I havenīt seen a final entry list until now. The entry list as posted as link by burito isnīt the final one itīs just from early April. Also I read somewhere not all drivers are on the provisional list. So I think Gilles will be one of the drivers who will be found on the final list.

We will see if Gilles will be the fastest Xray driver. Usually he will be. But when Ralph Burch was at the Masters last time he was very fast also and lost his A-Main position in his fastest run because of bad traffic if I remember right.

The TA-05 proto will not be run in any competition. The only place the TA-05 will be run in will be at TCS events or club races. That's what that car is being designed for, whereas the 415 and Evo 4 are all out world caliper race cars. Any thought that the TA-05 is being designed with going head to head with the TC4's, Pro 4's, RDX's, etc is just misguided...
