Jason,

Did you buy Viet's car? The one thing I can tell you to get is the lower front arm tree that Ray now carries. It has the new lower arm piece which allows you to raise the ride height higher than 3mm. I am using a long pack in my car.

Yes I bought Viets. If the parts are in stock I will grab a set tonight. Doctored uo the paint a bit so we didn't have another solid red Ferrari.

Cool deal!!! Don't worry, unless I roll my F103, we will never have the multiple "red Ferrari" issue on the track. I know my cars are not authentically F1 painted, so I will do the solid "off-the wall" color thing just to distinguish my car from the rest. Welcome to the Kyosho Plazma F1, once you get it dialed in, you may not run the others on the carpet much and reserve them for racing outdoors on the asphalt.

Racer Robert got me the part but I had real car issues Monday and didn't make it. Im really looking forward to trying it out. Have a older body and a decal set coming from F1Paintlabs soon. I like painting them as much as running them. Just a big F1 fan in general. I will be there next monday

Hit the track last night and ran a couple of packs. Added new arms and after a few tweaks was hitting 13.6's which is close to what I was at last time out. Need a bit more rear traction but I can see definite possibilties.

Check to make sure that you are 200mm in the rear. When I built mine, it was actually 195mm and I had to shim it 2.5mm per each side to make it match the from (which was at 200mm). If you are using the shorty pack, move it as far back as possible and maybe add 7g to 14 grams of weight to the rear. I am using a long pack and my rear traction is fine for my setup.

If you are looking for more off-power steering, move the upper front arms all the way back giving you more caster. Experimented with this at my club race yesterday and had more off-power steering than I knew what to do with. It made the car really wanted to push in long sweeping turns (right to left) like we had on my track's current layout (running the track counter-clockwise meaning the sweep at the end of straightaway on a clockwise direction is now at the beginning of the straightaway). I also raised my car to 5mm and it seems to be responding to inputs better.

I bought this car to be a back up/ extra car but it is already my main racer. I love this thing, it is very nimble yet stable. Dont know how to improve it.
