I can see how it would be helpful to balance the car. But unsure if its worth the price. I have 2 small digital scales from harbor freight I use for balancing that we about 1/4 the cost or less.

Must have:

Stainless steel ruler (best way to measure droop)
20 mm blocks
Non stepped ride height gauge
Digital caliper

If you shop around, you can get all that stuff for under $50.

WANT:

I have a Hudy setup station and four small scales to check cross weight. The setup station is speedy but dead accurate. My amazon sourced scale setup was less than $30 but requires some expertise to use correctly.

I dislike bubble setup because they only work if your car is exactly 50/50 left to right and front to back, which means you need scales...just buy the scales.

You can do this much cheaper with 4 sets of scales for weighing gold, they'll be about $10 per scale and do just as good a job lol

I would put a HUDY setup station well above four scales of that nature.

Setting up my toe and balancing my car is more important to me than if all four corners are exact weight. If you setup your car and its balanced odds are its gonna be pretty close on the corner weight scales.

There are the scales I bought

http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-gr...ale-97920.html

and this 1 for overall weight being VTA has a min weight and like to know I am at it when I go to a race

http://www.harborfreight.com/digital-scale-95364.html

You can usually pick up set up stations on here pretty cheap also. I got a hudy with toe plate included for $35 minus a board.

I would have chucked my Sprint 2 out the window if it wasn't for my Yeah Racing setup station. Measuring turnbuckles was going to be the death of me.

The scales are for setting cross weight.
