Ouch... yeah that was a very rough weekend...was it the E? or the D? I went from hero to zero within a day's time...I don't think I got one good qualifyer in!!

It was a good learning experience though... But I wouldn't like go through that week again!

This is absolutely true. We're a motor tuning company, but there were plenty of guys in the lower mains (think 'D' and under) that we tuned motors for (because they asked us to) whose handouts dynoed as strong as mine did and I was in the 'A'.

Like someone else said it's a driver, chassis, motor, battery combo. I worked my tail off to put it in the show over the past month and all the hard work paid off. It wasn't because I had the fastest stock motor in the place. (Okay, maybe I did. Ask Butter about that one.)

BRRRRRRR BRRRRRRR!

BBRRRRAAAAAA!!!! BBRRRAAAAAAAA!!!!!

And to agree with everyone else, no person or team in stock really had a HUGE advatange over anyone else, everyone was really close so you had to really wheel the car and not break the car inhalf coming onto the straight

19t actually alot of the factory boys had some issues with power up until the last main when certain people asked the help of a certain motor tuner to take the anchor off of their cars, lol. The fact stock guys were working on there stuff for 19t(me, smkya, brad, furman, etc) is probably why we were closer than lets say had we run mod.

Lopez-"dominating stock sells lots of cars. i think alex's intention was to finish ahead of jeff dayger(corally) to give xray the one two finish.not to lower teammate off the podium.

That was my intention. "

CMW-
"You guys were team driving in STOCK??!!!?! That's the lamest thing I've ever heard."

Either you get it or you don't. For those of you who don't, this has to be about the most pity situation ever. Stock motor racing should not be about manufacturer teams.

Default Team Driving

I witnessed it first hand. I was a victom of it during qualifying and 1 of the mains. It had nothing to do with team X-Ray though. And I also won't name names, but it happens.

Heck, if happens in every form of racing. NASCAR especially. Unfortunately, I didn't have a team mate in the main to help me. I was all by myself.

And John is right about motors. I personally know that my buddy Keith had a better stock motor than I did. I think he won the D at the Nats. It really comes down to driving and chassis setup. Sure motors and batteries help, but the car aint goin no where without driver and setup.

let me help you out with htis one!

this was a national race fellas!!! "national"

not a "club" race! do you understand the difference?

you bring your A game or go home!

if alex or anyone else wants to enter stock and win every race he attends, it's not his fault nor is it his problem!

PRACTICE!TUNE!STOP THINKING OF EXCUSES AND BEAT HIM AT HIS OWN GAME!

do you all realy think 1.185 battery compared to a 1.195 is going to put you in the A main???? ahhaaaaaaaahahaha

do you think a 63 watt stock motor compared to a 68 watt stock motor is going to put you in the A main?? ahhhhhhhhhhahaahahah

i would like to see alex take your stuff and race his way into the A main next race!

national events draw the best in the usa.

if you think you got beat by batteries and motors maybe it's time to take up chess?

i know alex and i wish he would run whatever class he desires, not what class he is told to run. but that's another subject, lol.

most of us could run 8 cells and a cheater stock motor and never sniff an A main at a national event! when you get to that level you know the truth is being spoken.
