Default Brushless Motor

im planning to get another burhsless motor...im would like a good one and also in a fairly cheap price. I have a novak 5800,..but i want one more brushless motor for my other car. WEHRES THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO GET BRUSHLESS MOTORS/SYSTEMS?

The 4300 system is $170-something on Novak's website...

Ya the novak 4300 is the cheapest thing around. The 5800 is the second cheapest. After that the dollar amount rises fast for most performance.

Fiegao motors and MGM speed controllers are supposed to be real nice in a 1/10th.

be cautious about the MGM controllers. I have the 120A model and they still need to work on their software more before this will be a useful controller. startup is very smooth, but they act funny when reducing throttle from a high amount to a lower amount. You can go from hi to neutral just fine, but going from 100% to say 40% is very abrupt. Hopefully they will fix this inthe new controllers.

You also need to be aware that a lot of these controllers do not have BEC's. You'll either need to hook up a reciever pack or get a 5-6 volt voltage regulator to run your radio equipment....
