Default What Tires for 1/8 On-Road?

Hi all,

I've recently finished my DM-1 Spec E and had a blast with it last weekend with my bountiful amount of 5000mah 4s packs!

However the only place nearby without driving to an actual paved r/c track is 40 minutes. I was just practicing driving since it was my first run.

After almost 2 4s packs the premounted Sweep GT Treaded 50 shore EXP tires were already bald!! No traction whatsoever.

This is the part number:
GT Tread 50 shore EXP rubber Black rim
Stock# SW40250E

Should I run OFNA foams up and down the street? I'm afraid of the foams getting chipped and torn up....but at least it should last longer than rubber right?

Pardon my noob questions this is my first 1/8 on road.
