Default Post of the Week

"To my understanding I can bring my hand made brushless motor and custom made motor control with antilock brakes and traction control with a custom profile made for the current layout to increase and decrease rpm rise rate for this track and no limit's to the materials I use or the cost of the motor to the Nat's and be accepted in the mod. class without any kind of inspection or public availability? I can give this custom setup to a A-main type driver and he'd have runtime and speed advantage thus vurtualy giving my motor/controler setup a huge advantage in sales in the future. And this is all endorsed by ROAR?
Thank you ROAR.
See you in the winners circle"

THERE IS NO MOTOR WITH TRACTION CONTROL OR ANTILOCK BRAKES!!!!! YOU'D NEED SENSORS ON ALL 4 WHEELS!!!!!

There's enough posts pertaining to this already.....

Get your facts straight pertaining to brushless motors, you have no clue how they work!!!!!

Two Team Associated drivers walking down the road. One says to the other " Hey ....Look at that dead bird!!" The other driver looks up in the sky and says " Where?" LMAO
Now thats funny I don't care who ya are.

Sorry for the Associated drivers but I am a Losi fan from the 80's. Old habits dye hard.

You could put in a host of other states from that region. I only picked Kentucky because my pastor is from there and he told me the joke....SO I figured I would keep it true to form.
Funny with any of that regions states.
The Associated one, That is funny I even own a B4 and found that humorous.

Here's the point of all of this. A good friend of mine's brother is a world caliber electric r/c pylon plane racer. He told me that his brother was at a competition, and some guys showed up with a reworked controller for their motor. His brother's plane was doing 180mph. These guys' plane was doing 197. Big difference.

PS if you think that abs and traction control are not acheiveable, you're wrong. If you map time vs. load, you have traction control. If the load suddenly drops out, duh, that's wheelspin. Cut the power.

Same thing with ABS. If the motor arm (which is connected to the wheels) locks up too quickly, the controller can pulse the braking action. This would be all based on testing to dial the features in, but it can happen.

This can be done even on brushed motors....
