I would love to pick one of these up as a big brother to my Ken Block VXL 1/16

Curious where pricing lands, pretty simplistic design, not using full 1/8 electronics so that will reduce the price a bit.

I saw this the other day too and I think I might get one...it would cure my on-road addiction and I can set it up to go off-road too..

I always liked the traxxas Ken Block but it was waaaaaaay to small..1/8 is more for me. looks like it will be a blast to drive.

as per amain and HPI on twitter today, no news yet for release or pricing.

They both actually replied to me today about this.

It does look pretty basic, but would be a blast! Their Nitro WR8 3.0 also has tarmac tyres. Wonder if they'll (or anyone) have some offroad tyres to suit. Edit - they are actually dirt tyres on the nitro version....

Was just about to buy a 1/10th rally car. In 2 minds now whether I should hold out for this or not??

looks like a stripped down Vorza chassis to me. nothing wrong wit hthat, should keep the $$ lower. which is a good thing.
I wonder how the valididty of the Traxxas Rally Cross car is and what scale it will be. Cant help but think they are just gonna put the new body on a 1/16 chassis with the slash geometry.

Don't think in any way it is based on the Vorza/D8 platform at all.

I wanted a 1/10 car too but im gonna wait for this. I could set it up for dirt and take it when I go to my MT races. Looks like it would be fun to drive.

Very intrested, The specs list it as smaller then a typical gt8, even smaller then a eb4 rally game, more like a super 10?
