Battery choice

Hi im going to be buying some nw battery packs and im thinking of getting some smc packs. i will be running a 14x2 revolution with a mc330 and was wondering is packs with these numbers would give me 5 minuite runtime on a reasonably tight track.
SEC: 409
PV: 1.498
CUTOFF: 0.90
CHG: 6.0
VLTS: 1.167
I-RES: 2.7
VCO: 5000
DIS: 30.0

sorry if this is a silly question but i dont wanna fork out money and then have to buy more..thanks

SMC packs are good battery packs, youll like them. The main numbers your going to want to look at is the runtime since its a little more important to finish a race than win one. 409 seconds should easily be enough to finish a race assuming the race is around 4-5 min. But the big factor that determines if your batteries will last the race or not is gearing. Check with the local racers to make sure your roll out is close to theres.

yeah smc is good, but pretty expensive. Get the promatch they are very repectable battery brand with alot of good run times and punch, and a lot cheaper! Trust me i own a pack of each one.

IMO everybody has there own cell that they like the most. Like that certain motor that makes you say "damn, this motor cant be legal". Ive been running axiom products for 3 years now with no complaints at all, so I would have to say axiom cells for the money. They are going to be your best packs and he stand behind what he sells.

Pro-match all the way. I ran them when I last raced eight years ago and I've got six of their packs ready to go when I make my return to racing in a few weeks.

If you don't go smooth on the throttle then you won't make runtime even if you had 500 second batts...../m l,;lt bj
